It is important to create a tool that provides this population with autonomy and choices as well as the support to make safer decisions. This will allow feelings of stigmatization to decrease and hopefully encourage the youth to reach out for help more often. The tool will contain easy to understand language with graphics to make it more appealing for the age group. The kit itself will also be aesthetically designed to enhance appeal for the demographic. With this particular demographic, there is the possibility of precarious housing conditions, as such it is relevant to create a tool that is portable and compact.
